I actually ordered this dog bed for my teenage daughter, lol. She has a loft in her bedroom that she's been turning into a reading and relaxing area with lots of pillows and cushions to lounge on. It works great for this because it's just a big foam piece that's not curved at the edges or anything, it's flat. I'm sure it'll work great for a dog to sprawl out on too. The cover is soft and it's comfortable. It's not quite as plush and thick as we were hoping, but it's fine. It's about as thick as a foam mattress topper.
